About Dan McGregor

Dan grew up in the Midwest where he completed an undergraduate degree in physics and graduate degree in electrical engineering. His varied career includes fifteen years of engineering services delivery, research and development, technical sales as well as ten years’ experience as a residential and commercial mortgage broker. Recently, Dan has worked as a civilian employee at Edwards AFB and performed modeling and simulation for a defense contractor engaged at Wright Patterson AFB.  The last semester of the recent school year, Dan taught honors physics as a supplemental substitute teacher at Beavercreek High School.

After relocating to Ohio, Dan became active in the Greene County Democratic Party as a lead precinct captain working to increase the visibility of Democrats in the area. Dan is running for Ohio Senate District 10 which comprises all of Clark, Greene, and Clinton counties.

His motivation for running is to advance widely popular issues such as support for public education, access to healthcare, and affordable housing.  However, fundamental to all of those goals, Dan seeks to raise awareness among Ohioans in Senate District 10 about how its “checks and balances” are weakened when supermajorities in the General Assembly exist.
